GTG Portal (1st phase completed for facultative placement)

A portal that links all the community under the Global Takaful Group (GTG) in facultative placement of retakaful business between takaful and retakaful operators. The GTG portal services will be further extended in the 3rd phase to cater Treaty business.

The portal caters for:

• Proportional business – all classes (1st phase – completed and launched on 28 August 2007)
• Non-proportional business – all classes (2nd phase – in progress)

In the 1st phase the enhancements is to facilitate:

• Infrastructure of databases of important Sharia rulings, industry recommendations, industry statistics and reports
• Advertising and booking of internships, training programs, meetings and conferences.
• Electronic placement of facultative retakaful.
